By earning a little extra money each month and contributing it all to repaying your debts as quickly as possible you will become debt free before you know it.

1. Sell old items
A simple and is to sell some of your old belongings that are rarely used. You could sell old clothes, books & games and electronics such as mobile phones and cameras. Whatever’s not used regularly you can try and sell.
You can sell your items on sites such as eBay, Gumtree and Amazon and earn a decent amount of money for a few hours work.
Although this is unlikely to be something you can do every month it can provide you with a good chunk of many to contribute towards paying off your debts.
2. Sell your skills
If you’re looking for a regular income then why not sell your skills for a monthly fee. If you can play a musical instrument then you could teach, if you’re into designing you could create artwork for companies and if you’re stuck for things to do you could become a home help, doing others washing, ironing and cleaning.
Although not always the most glamorous of jobs, doing a little extra work each month can earn you a decent amount of money on a regular basis.
3. Complete surveys and questionnaires
If you have a bit of spare time on your hands then from completing surveys and questionnaires.
There are literally hundreds of websites offering you the opportunity to complete surveys and questionnaires in exchange for a small fee. Although the amount you earn can be as low as $0.50 the amount you earn can quickly mount if you work at it everyday.
4. Sell your photos
Rather than uploading all of your photos to Facebook for the world to see why not pick out your best images and try and make a little money from them?
Sites like istockphoto.com allow you to upload your pictures to sell on their site. Then once someone purchases one of your images you will earn a percentage of the sale.
How much you will earn is dependent on the quality of your images but for a few hours work you can upload your images and watch the pennies roll in.
